Open Solutions Inc. Utilizes Linktivity’s WebDemo™ And WebInteractive™

The Situation:

Open Solutions Inc. (OSI) , a leader in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) had been searching for a simple, cost-effective way to pre-qualify customers. Company executives were spending a lot of time and resources on travel to visit potential customer locations, but not closing a sufficient amount of sales to justify the cost and time associated with this process.

The Solution

OSI was attracted to Linkitivity’s WebDemo, a real-time, Web-conferencing server software tool that enables businesses to collaborate with their customers using only an Internet browser and a Web connection. OSI had researched other collaboration solutions on the market, but chose WebDemo because of its simplicity and its ease-of-use.

The Results:

Before the implementation of WebDemo the time and expense spent traveling to potential customer sites was astronomical. On many occasions executives would make arduous journeys only to realize OSI’s offerings were not appropriate solutions.

“WebDemo has been extremely straightforward to learn, therefore our staff has embraced the product and consider it a valuable asset to the company,” stated Graham. “With the addition of this solution our executives can now rapidly pre-qualify customers, with a minimal amount travel, which has allowed Open Solutions to increase its customer base and in turn, increase sales significantly.”

In addition to WebDemo, OSI has just implemented Linktivity’s WebInteractive, a real-time software tool that provides a simple way to remotely and quickly manage and resolve online PC support requests.

“After recently installing WebInteractive, we already are seeing extremely positive results,” stated Graham. He continues, “Our customer support staff can now take control of the end user's computer and perform updates and resolve issues for them, saving many hours of time and frustration.”
