Working with designers: Clearing up the confusion.

While working with a few of our designers last week, I had a hard time getting the image of how the design should look from my head to their canvas. After hitting this road block, I went on a search for a tool that I could use to simply draw the changes I wanted for the site layout without having to use a high end graphics program. After a few dud programs I came across LinktivityPresenter.
After downloading the trial version I opened the site in a browser to see what I could do. In about 10 minutes I had drawn out all of the changes I wanted and was able to type out the copy changes as well with no problems at all. Once all of my changes were on the screen, I took a snapshot with the snapshot button and sent it to the designer.
Because it seemed so easy to work with the new tool I had one of our non-designers download the tool and they were able to make the changes just as easily as I did with no prior graphic design experience.
The really cool thing about this tool is that it's really inexpensive. For what you'd pay for a decent lunch*, you can solve tons of headaches with your design crew.
